The Uneventful

I tread the foggy roads in search of the sunny sky,

I tried to call for the warm winds but to no reply,

My legs faltered with the obscure voice of a war cry,

As I reached the light, I saw many mothers singing the same lullaby.

They were abandoned as their disorders couldn’t have been purified,

Their unexplored pain was infectious, it left them bone dry,

I couldn’t relieve them of their plights, I stood their horrified,

Untill a sudden breath of light opened my mind’s eye.
